CIMSTAR 540 is a clear, water soluble, semisynthetic metal working fluid having good rust control and excellent rancidity control. For use in light to moderate duty machining and grinding
applications, such as milling, drilling, turning, and surface
grinding.

Good lubricity - physical and chemical lubricant agents provide good machining and grinding ability.
The oily residue keeps machine tools and work-piece materials free of corrosion and staining. Good on most non-ferrous alloys as well.
Good rancidity control if product concentration is properly controlled
Good foam control.
Mix with water for use.
