LOCTITE SF 7900 Ceramic Shield for Welding is a dry film protective coating for MIG/MAG welding processes. It protects contact tips and welding nozzles by preventing adhesion of welding spatter. The coating dries by solvent evaporation at room temperature within 5 to 10 seconds of application. During the welding process, the coating hardens on the equipment surface by the heat generated to provide optimum spatter repellent properties for many hours and eliminate the need for cleaning.
